Pure Gold: A legend's final interview

I'm sitting in Reggie and Irene Gold's kitchen crying my eyes out. It's devastating and humbling to see someone I love go through the physical torture Reggie is bravely enduring now. I find myself in the most amazing situation I've ever witnessed. Strong all morning, I'm now starting to lose it as the waves of tears stream down my face.

As a doctor, the many responsibilities you have to your patients increase when you see children. When treating children, not only do you have your tiny patient to worry about but you have par-ents to deal with, too. Parents can be interesting to say the least. Most of them come in with the hope you can help - but not with the confidence you can help. You can understand that parents are weary because, let's face it, many doctors are as well. That isn't to say you don't believe in the power of chiropractic, but fear can set in bringing anxiety.
